Clinical observation on simultaneous floor bone graft of maxillary sinus and placement of hydroxylapatite-coated titanium dental implants

Clinical observation on simultaneous floor bone graft of maxillary sinus and placement of hydroxylapatite-coated titanium dental implants

Hunan Yike Daxue Xuebao 21(5): 410-412

This paper presented the application of autogenous bone grafting in the maxillary sinus floor and placement hydroxylapatite-coated titanium dental implants in the same period for 15 patients of maxillary posterior molar loss with inadequate, alveoli. The follow-up period continued for 6 to 16 months. In fifty-two dental implants fifty dental implants showed good results and two were lost. The operation procedures were introduced. The complications during operation and postoperation periods together with the treatment were discussed.
