C-band polymorphism in tetraploid wheat (Triticum turgidum) landraces from Qinghai and Gansu

C-band polymorphism in five tetraploid (2n=4x=28) wheat (Triticum turgidum L. ) landraces was studied. Qinghaifoshoumai, Gansufoshoumai, Wuzaolong, Jiutoumai and Heimangbaimai, which show C-band polymorphism on some chromosomes, share unusual terminal band on chromosome 2AL and 3BL. C-bands of Heimangbaimai on 2AL, 6AL, 1B, 2B, 3B, 6B and 7B are distinct from the others.
