The effect of different NaCl levels on Vigna unguiculata seed water uptake and its relationship with varietal tolerance was studied in this paper. Results showed significative damages on the. process at high salt concentration. Using a Cluster analysis based on Euclidean distance, the 12 genotypes were collected in five differentiated groups for its salt-tolerance, based on seed water uptake at high salt concentrations.
