Efficiency of selecting sows of large white breed by fattening qualities with 50% selection pressure by daily average gains of live weight was studied in four generations. In one generation the efficiency of selection with 50% selection pressure by daily average gains of live weight by age of reaching 100 kg of live weight and daily average gains made 6.8 days and 20 g respectively.
