Effects of agrichemicals on the mobility of lead and cadmium and their uptake by plants on light gray forest soils

Effects of agrichemicals on the mobility of lead and cadmium and their uptake by plants on light gray forest soils

Agrokhimiya 0(8): 54-59

Field small plot experiments showed that liming and application of manure were the most effective means of decreasing Pb and Cd mobility and their uptake by potatoes and oats on light-gray forest light loamy soil. In Cd-contaminated soils, these techniques were inefficient and the harvested crops presented risk for health.
