Estimulacion del crecimiento y desarrollo de plantulas de tomate del cultivar santa clara a los rayos gamma del Co60

The tomato seedling growth and development behavior of the Santa Clara cultivar in front of different Co60 gamma rays doses was studied. The days to 100% of germination and the third leaf appearance, height, root length, steam diameter, leaves number, leaf area and the seedling dry mass accumulation at 20 days after sown. The results indicated a marked stimulation in all of the indicators evaluated for most of the applied doses. Between the doses, 20 Gy was the most favorable.
