The biological control of the fungal diseases in onion awake every time old interest for the farmers, particularly in the Department of Boyaca in where Sclerotium cepivorum, causal agent of the onion white rotting, and Botrytis allii of the gray mold onion produce high yield losses. For application of the biological control extracts from plants as Allium sativum and Allium fistulosum have been utilized with promissory outputs.
