Natural development of Pinus koraiensis forests in Southern Primorye Territory

The multiyear investigations showed that self-development of natural forests with predominance of Pinus koraiensis Siebold Zucc. resulted in reducing the number of main forest-forming tree species and developing resistant polydominant communities. The catastrophic outer forces (winds, cutting of forest, and forest fires) favor to strengthen position of Pinus koraiensis.
