On the spittlebug genus Jembra metcalf and Horton with description of one new species (Homoptera: Cercopoidea: Aphrophoridae)

Oriental Insects 33(0): 337-348

The spittlebug genus Jembra Metcalf and Horton is removed from synonymy with Awafukia Matsumura and considered as valid. Jembra pallida Metcalf and Horton (the type species of Jembra) and Jembroides Matsumura are synonymised with Aphrophora nigronervosa Lallemand and Jembra respectively and two new specific combinations Jembra nigronervosa (Lallemand) and Jembra inouyei (Matsumura) are established.
