Yield of winter rye and fertility of soddy-podzolic soil with long-term application of fertilizers and liming in continuous seedings and crop rotation

In has been found in a long-term field experiment conducted Timiryazev Agricultural Academy that separate application of N, P, K is slightly efficient. Only full mineral fertilization in continuous seedings as well as crop rotation allow to double the yield of winter rye. Winter rye provides keeping the amount of organic matter in the soil at the level of 1,0C% without applying fertilizers. Pairwise and full mineral fertilizer for winter rye provides extended reproduction of humus in continuous seedings. However in crop rotation there is more intensive transformation of organic matter than with continuous cultivation of the crop.
