Effect of sowing dates on the incidence of insect pests and productivity of sorghum (Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench)



Indian Journal of Agricultural Research 38(4): 278-282



Two hybrids of sorghum viz., CSH 14 and CSH 9 were sown on six different dates starting from July 14, at weekly intervals and observations on insects pests incidence and their effect on growth, yield attributing characters and grain and stover yield were recorded. No significant difference on insect pests incidence and growth and yield attributing characters was recorded between two hybrids.
