Reciprocal crosses between susceptible (SS) and resistant (RR) lines to fenvalerate were conducted to determine whether or not there are any genetic relationships between insecticide resistance and reduction in egg size, as well to whether or not they affect the offspring fitness of the diamondback moth, Plutella xylostella.
