Relationship between tumor angiogenesis and tumor cell apoptosis and proliferation in bladder cancer

Relationship between tumor angiogenesis and tumor cell apoptosis and proliferation in bladder cancer

Journal of China Medical University 33(5): 438-439

Objective: To discuss the relationship between the tumor angiogenesis and tumor cell apoptosis and proliferation. Methods: Immunohistochemical method was used to stain the VIII factor antigen in the vascular endothelial cells and the ki-67 antigen in 64 cases of bladder transitional cell carcinoma (TCC). The apoptotic index (AI) used in situ labeling apoptotic DNA fragment kit and ki-67 labeling index (ki-67) and microvessel density (MVD) were measured in 64 cases of bladder cancer.
