The seasonal dynamics of carbon and nitrogen pools in the microbial biomass of leached chernozem under different agricultural practices was studied by the rehydration and kinetic methods. It was shown that the dynamics of nitrogen and carbon pools in microbial biomass was affected by both weather conditions and land management practices. From the analysis of the kinetic model parameters, the strategy of microbiota behavior was determined.
