Agrokhimiya (2): 5-12



The effect of different tillage practices in combination with fertilizing systems on the microbiological activity and crop yields in a grain-beet crop rotation was studied in a multifactorial stationary experiment. It was found that the annual application of 5.0 t of manure and N53P56K53 per hectare of crop rotation area and the combined tillage system (subsurface tillage for winter and spring cereals, peas, and clover and moldboard tillage for row crops, including improved fallow tillage to a depth of 30-32 cm for beet) stabilize the mineralization-humification ratio favorable for the conservation of soil fertility.
