Yield attributes of malt barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) as influenced'by nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and their correlation and regression with yield

Agricultural Science Digest 26(1): 48-50

A field experiment was conducted during rabi season 2001-02. The results showed that increasing levels of nitrogen and phosphorus increased the yield attributes. Application of 100 kg N ha(-1) significantly increased the effective tillers per m(2) row length (290.58), ear length (7.40 cm), and grains per ear head (58.54), grain weight per ear head (1.80 g) and 1000-grain weight (48.03 g) over 40, 60 and 80 kg N ha(-1).
