The application of Bacillus subtilis and B. licheniformis, isolated from the intestine of black tiger shrimp, as probiotics, was investigated. The black tiger shrimps that were raised with the combination of B. subtilis and B. licheniformis (1:1) at 3 g/kg diet had significantly improved immune parameters compared to those in other treatments and control (P<0.05).
