This study is aimed at eco-physiological research on European beech (Fagus sylvatica), which one of the most important wood species in Slovak forests. The goal was to assess the health state of beech saplings growing at experimental plots exposed to different immission load. The assessment was performed through physiological and biochemical parameters selected to detect the damage in the latent phase.
