A field experiment was conducted in Maharashtra, India to evaluate the effect of plant density (25x10, 18.7x10, 15x10, 12.5x10 and 10.7x10 cm; corresponding to 40, 53.40, 66.66, 80 and 93.45 plants/m2, respectively) on groundnut TAG-24 growth and yield under polyethylene mulch treatment. Leaf area of individual plants decreased with increasing plant density, while leaf area index values increased with increasing plant density.
