Essential oil content and constituents of Cercis siliquastrum L. growing in Iran

The essential oil of Cercis siliquastrum was isolated from the flowers of C. siliquastrum (collected from Tehran, Iran) and the oil was obtained with 0.08% yield, which was analysed by GC and GC-MS. Twenty-one compounds were characterized representing 83.9% of the total components detected.
