Essential oils of genus Achillea (Asteraceae) species containing fragranol

Rastitel' nye Resursy 42(2): 61-68

This study analysed the composition of the essential oils of Achillea millefolium, A. collina, A. pannonica and A. nobilis from the collection of Nikita botanical garden and some wild forms from the flora of the Crimea mountain in Ukraine. Chromatography and mass spectrometry revealed a fragranol content of 16 to 62% in the essential oils.
