Establishment of technology system of F1 anther culture from japonica/indica hybrid rice

The anthers of F1 progenies from three crosses between japonica and indica rice cultivars Heikezijing/Suyunuo, Tieganqing/Suyunuo, Bodao/Suyunuo and their parents, and japonica cultivar Wuyunjing 8 were used to induce calluses in the M8 medium supplemented with different concentrations and combinations of plant hormones and organic nutriments. A highly efficient system of anther culture was established for the F1 progenies between japonica and indica rice cultivars.
