Estimation of genetic and phenotypic correlation coefficients among grain yield and its components in bread wheat

The phenotypic and genetic correlation coefficients for 9 yield components of the bread wheat crosses V-95199 x PARI-73 (C1) and Chakwal-86 x V-8060 (C2), and their reciprocals were determined in a field experiment conducted in Pakistan. The estimated genotypic correlation coefficients were higher than the phenotypic correlation coefficient for both crosses and their reciprocals.
