Evaluacion of clinical competence in the area of gynaecology and obstetrics in pregrade

Ginecologia y Obstetrica de Mexico 70(11): 558-565

The clinical competence in gynaecology and obstetrics of interns in a university in Mexico was assessed. A total of 64 students were assessed; they had all finished their gynaecology rotation. The criteria for considering competency was arbitrarily set at 60%, both for individual problems and for the exam's global result. In 15 stations, the result was 56.2% global average.
