Evaluation of 'Lo TRAU' rice husk fired stove

Journal of Maharashtra Agricultural Universities 31(1): 132-134

The performances of Lo TRAU Stove was evaluated by standard water boiling test. Three models of stoves were compared. Results showed that the rice husk Lo TRAU stove is quite useful with respect to boiling and evaporation efficiency (BEE) and the type of fuel it utilizes for rural and tribal families. Maximum BEE, power rating and flame temperature was observed in case of stove no. 3. Husk burning rate and heavy smoke, on the other hand, greater in stove no. 1.
