Previous data on growth, food intake, digestibility rates and the nutritional composition of fish food and tuna meat were used in a nutritional approach to estimate the gross particulate and dissolved total nitrogen (TN) and total phosphorus (TP) waste output of Atlantic bluefin tuna during fattening conditions in Spain.
