Growth and dry matter accumulation dynamics of flue-cured tobacco under different soil moisture regimes

Growth and dry matter accumulation dynamics of flue-cured tobacco under different soil moisture regimes

Journal of Agronomy 5(1): 79-86

A field experiment was conducted in Kirklareli, Turkey, during 2000, 2001 and 2003 to study the effects of irrigation regimes and water stress imposed at earlier growth stages on the vegetative growth and dry matter accumulation in flue-cured tobacco plant (Nicotiana tabacum K-326). Three levels of reduction in irrigation water (0, 40 and 60%) were applied at each development stage.
