An 11-year-old girl from Libya presented with pain in the right upper abdomen and a 6-month history of recurrent vomiting. Examination revealed tenderness in the right upper abdomen and anaemia. Ultrasonography and computed tomography revealed a well-defined, round, thin-walled subcapsular cyst in segment VI of the liver and similar cysts in the right adrenal gland. Hydatid disease was suspected. Endocystectomy was carried out on both the liver and adrenal cysts. Histopathological examination confirmed the diagnosis of hydatid cysts.
