A checklist is presented of the main forest Lepidoptan insect pest of Venezuela, which includes pests that have been introduced to the country. The list classifies insects first according location/plant part attacked (forest nurseries, fruits and seeds, foliage and stems - in forest plantations and natural forests) then by family, and then by species, giving details of the hosts concerned under each species. The majority of pests attacked foliage.
