Management of root-knot nematode Meloidogyne incognita (Kofoid and White) Chitwood by the use of carbosulfan in mungbean

Journal of Maharashtra Agricultural Universities 31(1): 123-124

A study was conducted to manage root-knot nematode (Meloidogyne incognita) infesting mung bean (cv. Vaibhav) using carbosulfan in Maharashtra, India, during the kharif season of 2002. Treatments comprised: seed dressing with carbosulfan 25 DS at 1.5% w/w (T1), seed dressing with carbosulfan 25 DS at 3.0% w/w (T2), seed soaking in carbosulfan 25 EC at 0.1% (T3), seed soaking in carbosulfan 25 EC at 0.2% for 4 h (T4), and an untreated control (T5).
