Third and fourth instar larvae of P. interpunctella treated with 0.01-0.4 micro g novaluron and flufenoxuron/larvae or reared on a diet supplemented with 0.03-0.5% of the growth regulators exhibited morphological abnormalities including browning, size reduction and malformations at all stages of development.
