Random regression test day model for estimation of breeding values for persistency of first lactation milk yield in Murrah buffaloes

Random regression test day model for estimation of breeding values for persistency of first lactation milk yield in Murrah buffaloes

Indian Journal of Dairy Science 59(2): 95-99

Random regression test day model was applied for estimating the breeding value for persistency of first lactation milk yield by using estimated daily breeding values for milk production in Murrah buffaloes. The average breeding value was estimated as -317.30+or-12.71 with a minimum of -819.41 to a maximum of 200.24.
