Reaction of maize inbred lines to turcicum leaf blight caused by Exserohilum turcicum (Pass) Leonard and Suggs

Ten maize inbred lines (CM 105, CM 111, CM 117, CM 131, CM 209, CM 300, CM 500, CM 600, NAI 113 and NAI 114) were tested for resistance to turcicum leaf blight (TLB; Exserohilum turcicum in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, India during 2000-02. Among the ten inbred lines, only CM 209 and NAI 113 were disease-free at 30 days after germination (DAG) for the three consecutive kharif seasons of 2000, 2001 and 2002.
