Renewable energy and cogeneration: competitive and integrated sectors

Renewable energy and cogeneration: competitive and integrated sectors

Estimo e Territorio 69(6): 27-37

Investigations were conducted in Italy to study energy sources of agricultural origin produced through cogeneration processes. Advantages of use of renewable energy sources for conservation of biodiversity and ecological stability are considered. Implication of Kyoto Protocol for increase of bioenergy production in Europe and Italy, in particular, are considered.
