Researches and experiences of Conservation Reserve Program in USA

Researches and experiences of Conservation Reserve Program in USA

World Forestry Research 17(3): 48-51

Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) in USA is similar to the Program of Conversion Farmland to Forest or Grassland (CFFG) in China. Rich experiences and research on CRP from its start in 1985 can provide important information for the performance of CFFG in China. The specifications of CRP and the research on administration, evaluation of CRP, as well as optimization of the level of rental rates and acres were presented in this paper.
