Resistence to canker of poplar clones in the comparative trial Turcoiai

Resistence to canker of poplar clones in the comparative trial Turcoiai

Revista Padurilor 119(6): 3-6

Results are presented from this Romanian study carried out during 2000-03 to investigate resistance of 19 poplar clones to bacterial canker caused by Xanthomonas populi. Clones Bajdi II and Baden 431 were resistant, while Harff and I214 were relative resistant. Guardi, Veneziano, T30 and Beaupre were very susceptible, while Rap, Sacrau 79 and Girgione were susceptible.
