Respirometric method for the monitoring of biological processes

This paper presents current respirometric methods for general biological control using techniques developed for application in waste water treatment, particularly for the control of the activated sludge process. It also presents recent developments of this method for application in treatment systems of constructed wetlands. New methods developed in the engineering laboratory (Lisa) at the University of Trento (Italy) are described.
