Response of Kabuli chickpea to the foliar application of growth substances

A field trial was conducted during rabi 2001 in India to evaluate the response of kabuli chickpea to foliar applications of gibberellic acid (10 ppm), naphthalene acetic acid (20 ppm), cycocel (25 ppm), benzyladenine (25 ppm), Bioforce (2 ml/litre) and Biopower (2 ml/litre), given at 10-day intervals starting from the initiation of flowering. Water spray control and absolute control were also maintained.
