Response of early maturing maize (Zea mays) hybrids to applied nutrients and plant densities under agroclimatic conditions of Udaipur in Rajasthan

An experiment was conducted during the rainy seasons of 2002 and 2003 in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India to study the response of 2 new maize hybrids ('PEHM 1' and 'PEHM 2') to 2 fertilizer levels (100 and 125% of the recommended dose of 90 kg N/ha and 40 kg P2O4/ha) and 6 plant densities maintained at different growth stages.
