Response of organic manures and biofertilizer on growth, fruit yield and quality of mango cv. Amrapali under high-density orcharding

An experiment was carried out in New Delhi, India, during 2004 with mango Amrapali using farmyard manure (FYM, at 50 and 100 kg/plant), vermicompost (at 16.5 and 33 kg/plant), Azotobacter, Azospirillum, mixed strain of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi and phosphate solubilizing bacteria (PSB). All the biofertilizers were applied at 10 g/plant, while the AM fungi at 20 g/plant.
