Response of selected cultivars of chrysanthemum (Dendranthema indicum) to alternaria leaf spot disease

The resistance of 17 chrysanthemum (D. indicum) cultivars to leaf spot caused by Alternaria chrysanthemi was evaluated in an experiment conducted in Karnataka, India in 2000. Cultivars Mutant No. 9 and Selection-5 were moderately resistant, whereas cultivars Harvest Home, Saraval, Karnool and Chandrika were moderately susceptible.
