Response of some long spike wheat varieties to different levels of zinc foliar application

Annals of Agricultural Science, Moshtohor 36(4): 2751-2760

Wheat cultivars Sids 4 and Sids 9 were sprayed with 0, 400, 800, 1200, 1600, 2000, 2400 and 2800 mg Zn/litre in a field experiment conducted in Egypt during 1996-98. Grain and straw yield increased with increasing rates of Zn up to 1200 mg/litre. Sids 4 recorded the highest straw yield when sprayed with 1200 mg Zn/litre.
