Response of some tomato cultivars to root-knot nematode, Meloidogyne incognita (Kofoid & White) chitwood

The response of tomato cultivars Roma, Peshawari, M. Maker, Top Holland, Salos Holland, Royal Holland and Long Italy to M. incognita was tested in pot experiments. The cultivars were rated on the basis of development of knots, root-knot index (RKI) and nematode reproduction. Cultivars Long Italy and Royal Holland were highly resistant; Salos Holland was resistant; cultivars M.
