Balance of main elements of nutrition in cereal-sugarbeet rotation at long-term application of fertilizers

Investigations were conducted in Russia during 2002-04 to study the results of application of fertilizers started in trials initiated in 1936. Mineral fertilizers (NPK) were used during main cultivation in sugarbeet and manure was used in fallow using rotations of black fallow, winter wheat, sugarbeet, barley with added own grasses, perennial grasses harvested after a year, pea and oat. Data are tabulated on yield of main crops in rotations including cereals and sugarbeet.
