An experiment was conducted to study the effect of different levels of Ethrel (100, 150 and 200 ppm), maleic hydrazide (MH; 10, 20 and 30 ppm), indoleacetic acid (IAA; 50, 100 and 150 ppm) and gibberellic acid (GA; 20, 40 and 80 ppm) on two essential oil-yielding flowering plants (Jasminum auriculatum and J. sambac) during 1998-2000 in Kolkata, West Bengal, India.
