A field experiment was conducted on farmers' fields in Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh, India, during 1994-95 and 1995-96 to investigate the effects of different organic manures along with inorganic fertilizers (NPK) on cane yield and juice quality (brix, sucrose, fibre percentage, purity percentage, reducing sugars and commercial cane sugar) of plant and ratoon crops of sugarcane CoC 671.
