Population genetic evaluation of dairy cattle reproduction

Selected reproductive parameters were evaluated in dairy cattle such as days from calving until insemination, result of first insemination, calving difficulty and stillbirths. The basic statistics were determined. With the exception of stillbirths, the genetic parameters (genetic variance, direct and maternal heritabilities and direct maternal correlation) were predicted.
