A field experiment was conducted during 1999 to 2002 at Nimpith, West Bengal, India, on fertilizer management under rice-rice cropping system to compare the soil test based doses of inorganic fertilizer, supplemented with biofertilizer and organic manure which is ultimately sustainable, economic and efficient.
