The effect of body weight changes during the breeding season on the ovulation rate, blood progesterone levels and embryo survival of the crossbreed Mexican ewe

The effect of body weight changes during the breeding season on the ovulation rate, blood progesterone levels and embryo survival of the crossbreed Mexican ewe

Journal of Animal and Veterinary Advances 5(9): 741-743

The effect of body weight changes during the breeding season on the ovulation rate, blood progesterone levels and embryo survival of the crossbred Mexican ewe was studied. During May-September 2004, a total of 120 crossbred ewes were selected from a traditional flock in the high mountains (latitude 19 degrees N, 99 degrees W) of Mexico and randomly divided into 4 groups of 30 each.
