An experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of pre-sowing seed treatments on the germination, emergence and seedling establishment of wheat Auqab-2000. The seeds were subjected to hydropriming for 24 h, hardening for 12 h (one cycle), matriconditioning with pressmud for 24 h or halopriming with 100 mol CaCl2/m3, 50 mol NaCl/m3 and 25 mol Ca(NO3)2/m3 for 24 h. Both primed and unprimed seeds were subjected to germination, emergence and electrical conductivity test.
